Vivid Sydney at Barangaroo House

From 22 May to 13 June 2026, Vivid Sydney returns to transform Sydney with a city-wide celebration of light, music, ideas and food, and this year, Barangaroo House will become part of the spectacle, illuminated as part of the festival’s iconic projection program along the harbour foreshore.

As the precinct comes alive after dark, settle in for waterfront dining and late-night drinks before or after exploring the festival.

This year’s centrepiece, Laniakea, invites guests on a cosmic journey through the stars. Named after the supercluster that contains the Milky Way and more than 100,000 galaxies, the immersive work combines monumental visuals with an original symphonic score by artist David Moraton, inspired by his experience of synesthesia, where colour and sound become one.
