International Women's Day at Bea

Bea was thrilled to host a very special breakfast on March 8th for International Women's Day - Sydney's inaugural One of One breakfast event, bringing together mentors, mentees and industry leaders in the music industry.

 

The incredible women of the Barangaroo House kitchen put together a bespoke menu for the event, while women gathered to listen to important key note speeches and special live performances from notable artists in the music industry. 

Bea X Bangara

In celebration of our friends at Bangara, our Head Chef recreated a dish  straight from a new Bangara work called Dark Emu; a typical Aboriginal Australian dish pre-European settlement with his own signature spin.

 

Bruce Pascoe’s landmark book illuminated the sophisticated food production and land management practices of pre-colonial Aboriginal Australians. Australian Gourmet Traveller spoke with Bruce Pascoe about our collaborative dish. 

Gordon Ramsay at Bea

We were thrilled to be host the Delicious Icon Series’ dinner with Matt Moran + Gordon Ramsay at Bea.  Bea opened its doors to 150 guests for dinner with old friends Matt and Gordon, to enjoy the specially curated menu by Head Chef, paired with wines from The Wine Society. 

 

The night celebrated Gordon’s latest cook book, Ultimate Fit Food and Matt’s new venture Barangaroo House. It was to an entertaining night with both Matt and Gordon hosting.
