You’ll find Bea where land meets sea, in the heart of Barangaroo. We like to think of our home here as a hideaway for the mischievous, where generous, simple food takes the hand of delicious, uncomplicated wine and cocktails.
At Bea we not only sit cheek-to-cheek with Sydney Harbour, but draw inspiration from this glittering landscape too, championing its bounty of market-fresh vegetables, seafood and meat on our wood-fired grill. Executive chef Tom Haynes is steered by the seasons rather than pomp or ceremony. Give him a charred tiger prawn with finger lime or a grass-fed T-bone brushed with rosemary over fussed-up food any day. We always save room for a little mischief around here, you’ll find it in Tom’s Milo-inspired dessert and, if your sweet tooth desires, a wattle seed caramel koala with your espresso. Head Sommelier Georgina Larsson’s dynamic wine and cocktail list doubles down on the good times, at Bea there’s always time for another round.
Our home by the water is a place to linger and to lounge. Come on upstairs and get up to no good over a seasonal Spritz or two… or three. Rascals are more than welcome.
Executive Chef Tom Haynes makes the most of local, seasonal Australian ingredients from land and sea not to cater to trends, but because this approach results in incredible flavour and texture - food that needs not much else to improve it. Each dish is designed for sharing, such as our signature 1.5kg Tomahawk T-bone, whole roast duck with BBQ plum sauce or John Dory with burnt grapefruit, but you may want to order our Milo-inspired dessert all for yourself.
Head Sommelier Georgina Larsson’s wine list works to uplift and support Bea’s menu with interesting varietals sourced from overseas and closer to home.
